Nursing Diagnosis Terminology Development and Review Committee
Conducts review of new and revised nursing
diagnoses. Standardize specialized and technical terms related
to nursing diagnosis.
The duties of the standing committee include,
but are not limited to:
• Review newly proposed, proposed
revisions, or proposed deletions of nursing diagnoses and terms.
• Discuss matters related to understanding and utilization and of nursing
diagnosis.
• Discuss other matters proposed by the committee and approved by the Board
of Directors.
Editorial Committee
Reviews submitted manuscripts and advises
journal policy and scope to carry out editorial activities
to publish journal and newsletters of
the Japan Society of Nursing Diagnosis.
The duties of the standing committee include,
but are not limited to:
• Editing and publication of the official journal Nursing Diagnosis.
• Publication of the newsletter.
• Matters
related to publication peer review policies and rules.
• Other matters initiated by the committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
Research
Committee
Research Committee facilitates and promotes research on nursing diagnosis.
The duties of the standing committee include,
but are not limited to:
• Exploration and clarification of research issues related to nursing diagnosis.
• Facilitation and promotion of research on nursing diagnosis by the members.
• Dissemination of information on nursing diagnosis research and make information available to the
members.
• Collaboration with other academic societies and organizations to exchange
information and promote scholarship.
• Other matters proposed by the committee and approved by the Board of
Directors.
Research
grant and scholarship selection committee
Nominates and selects recipients of research grants and scholarship.
The duties of the standing committee include,
but are not limited to:
• Selection of recipients of grants and / or scholarships.
• Administration related to grant and scholarship awards and their financial
reporting.
• Other matters proposed by the committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
International Relations Committee
Promotes international relations and collaborations related to nursing
diagnosis.
The duties of the standing committee include,
but are not limited to:
• Promotes international relations and collaborations with other entities.
• Information exchange with NANDA International.
• Other matters initiated by the committee and approved by the Board of
Directors.
Bylaws
Committee
Makes recommendations to the Board regarding the currency of the society's
Bylaws through a process of review and revision.
The committee solicits suggestions from the membership prior to the General
Assembly regarding the need for change or
the committee drafts revisions and updates for review by the Board.
The duties of the standing committee include,
but are not limited to:
• To prepare a proposal to revise the Bylaws to the Board of Directors
in accordance with the society's operation.
• To prepare
and submit a draft of the necessary bylaws to the Board of Directors
based on the Bylaws.
• Matters
initiated by the committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
Academic
Affairs Committee
Promotes mutual exchange and cooperation with various nursing academic
societies and organizations, disseminates
research findings and results from research on nursing diagnosis and related
topics.
The duties of the standing committee include,
but are not limited to:
• Academic and scholarly activities.
• Other
matters proposed by the Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
